We began with a prayer of thanks to God for our sponsors who make this program possible. Afterwards, we prayed for the food.
Next, the kids did an arts and crafts activity where they colored a style of shoe on a white sheet of paper. The kids colored it in their own way, and then they told the significance of the drawing for them.
In Math class, the kids were content because they were using their individual whiteboards, and the little kids were using their abacus to add in an easier way since it is difficult for them to count at this age.
In Bible class, we talked about Luke 16:19-31. In the passage, Jesus teaches about the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. The rich man dressed in clothes of fine linen and had a lot of banquets. There was a poor man named Lazarus who would always sit at the door waiting for crumbs to fall from the rich man’s table. Afterwards, the two men died, but Lazarus went to heaven, and the rich man went to a place of torment.
We explained to them that we have to have Jesus in our hearts and love our neighbors and help them in their necessity.

Empezamos con una oración de agradecimiento a Dios por nuestros padrinos que hacen posible este programa. Después, oramos por los alimentos.
En seguida, los niños hicieron un trabajo manual donde colorearon en una hoja blanca un estilo de zapato. Los niños lo decorarán a su gusto. Después, dijeron que significado tenía para ellos.
En la clase de matemáticas, los niños estuvieron muy contentos porque estrenaron unas pizarras blancas y los pequeños usaron nuevos ábacos para hacer las sumas de una manera más fácil porque les cuesta contar en esta edad.
En la clase bíblica, hablamos de Lucas 16:19-31. En este pasaje, Jesús enseña sobre la parábola del rico y Lázaro. El rico que se vestía de lino fino y tenía muchos banquetes. Había un hombre pobre que se llamaba Lázaro que se sentaba siempre a la puerta esperando que cayeran los sobros de la mesa del rico.
Después murieron los dos pero Lázaro fue al cielo y el rico a un lugar de tormento.
Le explicamos que tenemos que tener a Jesús en nuestro corazón y amar a nuestros prójimos y ayudarles en su necesidad.
