We thanked God for the health of the kids, and we thanked God for supplying all the needs of our sponsors and the needs of the kids in Jesus’ name. We gave thanks to God for another day of life. We reviewed the Alturas rules in English.
The kids ate a delicious breakfast.
They played games like dwarf-giant, etc. They had running competitions and teamwork competitions.
In the arts and crafts activity, they made a stable out of white paper and popsicle sticks that had Mary and Joseph and the cradle (manger) of Jesus.
In Bible class, we studied Luke 2:1-7. The kids learned about the census that was taken in those times. The emperor Caesar wanted to know how many people were there in that city, and he made the decision to count all of the people and declared that everyone should return to the town in which they were born.
Mary and Joseph were in Nazareth, and they had to return to Bethlehem. They walked a long distance, and Mary was sitting on a donkey, and she was tired and pregnant. They arrived to ask for lodging at various places, but everything was full, and they did not find a place.
Finally, a man told them they he had a stable. We explained that a stable is a place where animals live, eat, and sleep.
Mary and Joseph stayed in that place surrounded by many animals because Mary was tired from the long trip. While they were there, a beautiful miracle happened: the son of the Living God was born that night.
We explained to the kids that Jesus is our hope and the hope for everybody, especially for those who have a lot of hate in their heart and need God’s forgiveness and to forgive others. We thank God because He loves and forgives us, we can love and forgive others.

Dimos gracias a Dios por la salud de los niños y agradecimos a Dios que El suple toda necesidad de nuestros padrinos y
los niños en el nombre de Jesús. Dimos gracias a Dios por un día más de vida.
Repasamos las reglas de Alturas en inglés.
Los niños comieron un delicioso desayuno.
Hicieron juegos como enano-gigante, etc.
Hicimos competencias de correr y competencias de trabajo en equipos.
En la actividad de manualidades, hicieron un establo con hojas blancas y paletas que tenía a Maria y José y la cuna (pesebre) del Jesús.
En la clase de Biblia, estudiamos Lucas 2:1-7. Los niños aprendieron acerca del censo que se realizó en aquellos tiempos. El emperador César quería saber cuántas personas había en aquella ciudad y tomó la decisión de contar a todas las personas y declaro’ que cada uno debía de regresar a su pueblo de nacimiento.
María y José estaba en Nazaret y tenían que regresar a Belén. Caminaron una larga distancia y María estaba montada en un burro y ella estaba cansada y embarazada. Ellos llegaron a pedir posada a varios lugares pero todo estaba lleno y no encontraron lugar. Al fin, un señor les dijo que él tenía un establo. Explicamos a los niños que un establo es un lugar donde viven, comen y duermen muchos animales.
María y José se quedaron en aquel lugar rodeado de muchos animales porque María estaba muy cansada por el largo viaje. Mientras estaban alli, ocurrió un hermoso milagro: el Hijo del Dios altísimo nació esa noche.
Explicamos a los niños que Jesús es nuestra esperanza y la esperanza para todos, especialmente por la gente que tienen mucho odio en sus corazones y ocupan el perdón de Dios y perdonar a otros. Damos gracias a Dios que porque El nos ama y nos perdona, podemos amar y perdonar a otros.
