We thanked God for the day in spite of the fact that it was raining all morning.
We thanked God also for our sponsors.
The kids had a second helping of our traditional Costa Rican breakfast of rice and beans.
Later, we played with PlayDoh and instructional table games.
In English class, we sang in English several songs like the happy song”, and “the days of the week.”
In arts and crafts time, we talked to the kids about how “lighthouse” day began and that we became free and independent. The kids made the “lighthouses,” and they enjoyed doing it.
In Bible class, we told about how God told Noah to build an ark with the exact measurements that God gave him and how Noah was obedient, and how God forgave his family.
Today, God wants our obedience and for us to do everything like God told us.
We sang “Noah’s Song,” and we made animal sounds of the animals that were on the ark.
As always, we gave them lunch, and at the end of the program, a snack in a bag and we said goodby with a smile.

Dimos gracias a Dios por el día a pesar que estuvo lloviendo toda la mañana. Agradecimos a Dios también por nuestros padrinos. Repitieron el gallo pinto, nuestro desayuno tradicional costarricense de arroz y frijoles.
Luego, jugaron con plasticina y juegos de mesa instructivos.
En la clase de inglés, cantamos en inglés varias canciones como “the happy song”, y “the days of the week.”
En el tiempo de manualidades, les contamos a los niños como se inicio’ “el día de los faroles” y llegamos a ser libres e independientes. Los niños confeccionaron un farol y disfrutaron hacerlo.
En la clase bíblica, le contamos como Dios le dijo a Noé que hiciera una arca con todas las medidas exactas que Dios le dio’ y como Noe era obediente. Dios honró la obediencia de Noé y como Dios perdonó a toda su familia.
Hoy Dios quiere nuestra obediencia y que hagamos todo como Dios nos dijo.
Cantamos “la canción de Noé” y hicimos los sonidos de los animales que estuvieron en en el arca.
Como siempre, les dimos el almuerzo y al final, se les dio’ una bolsita con una merienda y los despedimos con una sonrisa.
