Esta semana oramos por los cumpleañeros del mes, deseándoles muchas bendiciones y sabiduría. La profesora Damaris nos enseño´ sobre el clima en inglés porque los Estados Unidos tiene temporadas diferentes que Costa Rica que solo cambia de la época soleada a la lluviosa. Ademas, vimos algunos formas de contestar o pedir las cosas de forma educada en inglés.

Hicimos muchas actividades físicas con un rally de juegos típicos que nos prepararon. Lo mas importante es la Palabra de Dios, que con una actividad muy bonita con una hoja de papel aprendimos que no son los bienes materiales los que nos dan valor, sino la sangre de Jesús que

 fue derramada en la cruz.

This week we prayed for those who had their birthdays this month and we wished them a lot of blessings and wisdom.  Teacher Damaris taught us about climate in English because the United States has different seasons than Costa Rica, which only changes from the sunny season to the rainy season. In addition, we saw some ways to answer or ask things in a polite way in English.

We did a lot of physical activities with a typical Costa Rican games rally that they prepared for us. The most important part is the Word of God that we learned (via a very beautiful activity with a piece of paper) that material things do not give us value, but rather it is the blood of Jesus,

that was shed on the cross.

Hoy venimos a nuestra reunión mensual de niños en la iglesia, donde aprendimos que somos el ejército de Dios y que somos llamados a cambiar este mundo- no con armas ni guerra, sino con la palabra de Dios y nuestras acciones. Oramos por los niños que están sufriendo en Siria y otros países donde hay guerras. Es lindo ver a nuestros niños orando por los niños de otras naciones y creyendo que Dios puede traerles paz y consuelo.

Disfrutamos mucho y compartimos con otros niños de la comunidad.

Today we came to our monthly meeting of the kids of our church, where we learned that we are the army of God and that we are called to change this world-not with weapons of war, but with the word of God and our actions. We pray for the kids that are suffering in Syria and other countries where there are wars. It is beautiful to see that our kids are praying for the kids of other nations and believing that God can bring them peace and comfort.

We enjoyed ourselves a lot and we shared with other kids from the community.

Hoy la Profesora Damaris nos ayudó a hacer un títere para representar la canción que estamos aprendiendo. Cada uno lo hizo como mejor pudo y utilizando su imaginación.

Después aprendimos a que todos somos diferentes como nuestros títeres. Sin embargo, Dios nos ama a cada uno por igual, sin ver nuestras diferencias.

Nos gusta practicar nuestro ingles mientras jugamos porque aprendemos mejor de esta manera.

Today Teacher Damaris helped us to make a puppet to represent the song that we are learning. Each one made the best puppet that they could and used their imagination.

After we learned that all of us are different, just like our puppets are different. However, God loves each of us the same, without looking at our differences.

We like to practice our English while playing because we learn best that way.
