Today, we gave the Alturas kids a great surprise, thanks to our sponsors. This year, they have made a great effort to improve their conduct and improve academically in our program. Due to that, the big surprise was to take them to the movies, so that they could see the movie “Avengers.” The majority of the kids have never been to the movies so it was a unique experience for them.
Before leaving for the movies, we had a small devotional with Jessica, and then, Amy gave us instructions to see what we had waited for a long time.
The kids and staff made the line to buy a choice of popcorn, hot dogs, and potato chips, in addition to the soft drinks and sweets. The film was entertaining, and the kids behaved very well.
They felt very thankful, and in their faces, you could see the joy of kids having dreams fulfilled.

Hoy les dimos una gran sorpresa a nuestros chicos de Alturas, gracias a nuestros patrocinadores. Este año han hecho un gran esfuerzo por mejorar en conducta y académicamente en nuestro programa. Por lo que la gran sorpresa fue llevarlos al cine para que pudieran ver la película de “los Vengadores.”La mayoría de los niños nunca habían ido a un cine por lo que fue una experiencia única para ellos.
Antes de salir para el cine, tuvimos una pequeña reflexión con Jessica y después Amy nos dio’ instrucciones para poder ver lo que tanto esperamos.
Hicimos la fila para comprar palomitas, perros calientes y papas, además de refrescos y dulces. La película estuvo muy entretenida y los chicos se portaron muy bien.
Se sintieron muy agradecidos y en sus rostros, se podía ver el gozo de niños cumpliendo un sueño.
