As always, we welcomed the kids, prayed for the day, breakfast, and for our sponsors because we are thankful that they bless us. We prayed also for our kids’ families.
In the English lesson, we worked with a cut-out tree to practice the weather of today, and we asked: What is the weather today?
The kids drew clouds on the tree and said “today is cloudy.” They surprised us because they answered correctly that it was cloudy.
We made angels to give to our sponsors later because they are angels who help us to have a better future.
In the Bible lesson that Teacher Migdalia gave, we learned about Jacob and his wives. We talked about how Jacob had to work 7 years to be able to marry Rachel because that was the agreement that he had with Laban, Rachel’s father. After working those 7 years, he thought that he was marrying Rachel, but Laban deceived him and gave him Leah to be his wife. We talked about the deception that Laban did to Jacob, and we talked about lies and the problems that they bring if one lies. We spoke also about values and respect.
The kids drew in the time of arts and crafts and made scrunched up, little paper balls and put them on the paper to develop their small motor skills.

Como siempre, dimos la bienvenida, oramos por el día, el desayuno y por nuestros padrinos porque estamos agradecidos que nos bendicen. Oramos también por sus familias.
En la lección de inglés, trabajamos con un árbol recortado para poner el tiempo de hoy y preguntamos: “What is the weather today?” Los niños dibujaron nubes en el árbol y dijeron: “today is cloudy.” Nos sorprendieron porque respondieron bien porque estuvo nublado.
Confeccionamos ángeles para dar luego a nuestros patrocinadores porque son ángeles que nos ayudan para tener un mejor futuro.
En la lección bíblica que Profe Migdalia dió, aprendimos sobre Jacob y sus esposas. Hablamos de que Jacob tuvo que trabajar 7 años para poderse casar con Raquel porque eso era el acuerdo que Jacob tenía con Laban, el padre de Raquel. Después de trabajar esos 7 años, pensó que iba a casarse con Raquel pero Laban lo engañó y le dió a Lea como esposa. Después, Jacob tuvo que trabajar 7 años más para casarse con Raquel. Hablamos del engaño que Laban hizo a Jacob y hablamos sobre las mentiras y los problemas que traen cuándo uno miente. También, hablamos de los valores y del respeto.
Los niños dibujaron, hicieron y pegaron bodoquitos al papel en el tiempo de manualidades para desarrollar sus destrezas del motor fino.
