We put the names of the kids on their chairs so that they would know where to sit. We sang “ We are in the Lord’s army,” and we learned the numbers from 1 to 10. We practiced how to pronounce words in English, and we learned the days of the week.
In the Bible lesson, we taught them that we should talk to God by way of prayer. We talked about how we should ask Jesus into our hearts, and we sang “I want to guard my heart.” It is important for the kids to know that they must guard their hearts for God.

Se les puso los nombres de los niños en sus sillas para que sepan donde deben estar sentados. Cantamos “somos soldaditos del Señor” y aprendimos los números del 1 al 10. Practicamos cómo pronunciar palabras en ingles y aprendimos los dias de la semana.
En la lección bíblica, les enseñamos que nosotros debemos hablar con Dios por medio de la oración. Hablamos que debemos de pedirle a Jesús que entre en nuestros corazones y cantamos “quiero guardar mi corazón.” Es importante que los niños entiendan la importancia de guardar sus corazones para Dios.
