Today, we were praying for our sponsors and their families, and we asked God to continue blessing them as He always has. We played super fun games, which Jessica brought, and the kids had a great time.
In the Bible lesson, we talked to them about greed. One of the girls, Madelin shared a little of the lesson. We told the kids a story about a monkey. A monkey had made a hole in a gourd, and put cooked rice that he had found in the hole of the gourd because he could not eat it all. Then, the monkey put his hand again in the hole of the gourd in order to take out the rice, but his hand got stuck. To free his hand, he would have to let go of the rice, but he did not want to, and due to not letting go of the rice, he remained trapped so that no other monkey could get his rice. We explained to them that sometimes we are like that because usually no one shares, and even if they have a surplus, they prefer to be trapped than share. We told them about the unwise rich man that God had blessed, but one day an angel, told him that he was going to die that day (instead of being able to have all of that for himself).
In English, the kids took a diagnostic test, and they had to think a lot. Later, we played to see which team could inflate more balloons, and afterwards, they had to maintain the balloons in the air. Also, we played “advance in team,” in which each team had a color assigned, and there was a dice that each leader had to throw, and the color of the team whose color showed on the dice had to advance.

Hoy estuvimos orando por los padrinos y sus familias y pedimos que Dios les siga bendiciendo como siempre El lo ha hecho. Hicimos juegos super divertidos, los cuales se los llevó Jessica y se divirtieron mucho.
En la lección bíblica, se hablo’ sobre la avaricia. Una de las niñas, Madelin, compartió un poco de la lección. Les contamos a los niños una historia de un mono.
Ese mono había hecho un hueco en un ayote y guardó arroz cocinado que el había encontrado en el hueco del ayote porque no podía comerlo todo.
Más tarde, el mono metió la mano en el hueco del ayote para sacar el arroz pero quedó pegado la mano. Para sacar la mano, el mono tendría que soltar el arroz pero no quiso y por no soltar el arroz quedó atrapado con tal que ningún mono cogiera su arroz. Entonces el mono dejo’ la mano ahí y quedó atrapado. Les explicamos que a veces somos así con tal que nadie comparte lo que tiene y aunque tengamos sobreabundancia, a veces preferimos quedarnos atrapados en vez de compartir. Les contamos sobre el rico insensato el cual Dios lo había bendecido, pero un día llegó un ángel y le dijo que ese día iba a morir (en vez de poder tener todo eso para si mismo).
En inglés, realizamos un examen diagnóstico y tuvieron que pensar mucho.
Más tarde, jugamos para ver cuál equipo llenaba más globos y después, tuvieron que mantener los globos en el aire. También,jugamos “avanza en equipo” que se trata de que hay equipos con un color asignado y hay un dado que el lider debe tirar y el equipo del color que cae tiene que avanzar.
