We blessed the Lord for such a beautiful day, and we prayed for the food, the sponsors, and for all that they do to make Alturitas a reality.
In English class, we reviewed the days of the week. We also had Math class since the kids are a little behind in this subject. For those who are in first and second grade, we started with addition and subtraction, which was very nice to see the kids counting on their fingers. The little ones who are in preschool, traced lines with the colors: red, blue, and green. Afterwards, they played “hot potato,” in which they passed a balloon to the beat of the music, and when the music stopped, whoever had the balloon had to make an animal sound.
In the Bible lesson, we reviewed the creation. Afterwards, we talked about the first sin that was disobedience that Adam and Eve committed against God because He gave them the order to not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that was in the garden, first due to obedience, and because afterwards, their eyes would be open to the knowledge of good and bad. God told them that they would die if they ate from the fruit of that tree. They disobeyed and ate from the fruit of the tree, and there were bad consequences for them, including being separated from God for their disobedience. However, God sacrificed a lamb, and dressed them showing that He always prepares a way to reestablish communion with His kids like he did with sacrifices and later, with the perfect sacrifice, Jesus.

Bendecimos al Señor por el día tan hermoso y oramos por los alimentos, los padrinos y por todo lo que hacen para hacer Alturitas una realidad.
En la clase de inglés, volvimos a repasar los días de la semana. También, le dimos clase de matemáticas ya que los niños están un poco retrasados en ese aprendizaje. A los que están en primero y segundo grado, empezamos con addition and subtraction, lo cual fue muy bonito verlos sumar con los dedos. Los más pequeños que son de preescolar siguieron trazos de líneas con los colores: red, blue y green. Después, jugaron con Migdalia “la papa caliente” en el cual se pasaban un globo al compás de la música y cuando la música para, el que tiene el globo pierde y tiene que hacer sonidos de algún animalito.
En la enseñanza biblica, repasamos la creación. Luego, hablamos acerca del primer pecado que hubo que fue la desobediencia que cometieron Adán y Eva en contra de Dios porque El les dio’ la orden de no comer del fruto del árbol del conocimiento del bien y el mal que estaba en el jardín, primero que todo por obediencia y luego porque sus ojos serían abierto al conocimiento del bien y el mal. Dios les dijo que morirían si probaran del fruto de ese árbol. Ellos desobedecieron y comieron del fruto del árbol y hubo consecuencias malas para ellos, incluyendo estar separados de Dios por su desobediencia. Sin embargo, Dios sacrificó un cordero y los vistió mostrando que El siempre provee una manera de restablecer comunión con sus hijos como lo hizo con los sacrificios y más tarde con el sacrificio perfecto, Jesús.
