We prayed as always to start the day. 

In English class, the kids tried to write vowels, and we played with the colors: yellow, red, blue, green, black, and white. 

The Bible lesson was about the arrival of the Wise Men. We spoke about how they took presents to the Christ child, Jesus, and how the shepherds saw a star that guided them to the manger where Jesus was.

Oramos como siempre para empezar el día.

En la clase de inglés, los niños trataron de escribir vocales y jugamos con los colores amarillo, rojo, azul, verde, negro y blanco. 

La lección bíblica era sobre la llegada de los reyes del oriente. Hablamos de que los reyes del oriente llevaron presentes al niño Jesús y que los pastores vieron una estrella que los guio’ al pesebre donde estaba Jesús.

We practiced “the Lord’s Prayer” in English class. Also, we talked about different types of animals and their names.

In the Bible lesson, we talked about how Mary and Joseph left Nazareth towards another town (Bethlehem) so that Jesus could be born in Bethlehem, and we talked about where Jesus was born (in a manger). Also, we practiced the song “Merry Christmas”,and we made cards, in which we thanked our sponsors for all that they have given to us!

Practicamos “la oración del Padre” en la clase de inglés. También, hablamos de diferentes tipos de animales y sus nombres. 

En la lección bíblica, les hablamos de como María y José salieron de Nazaret hacia otro pueblo (Belen) para que Jesús naciera en Belen y hablamos donde nació Jesús (en un pesebre).

También,  practicamos la canción “Feliz Navidad” y hicimos cartas para los padrinos, en las cuales les agradecimos a los patrocinadores por todo lo que nos han dado!

We began to make thank you cards for our sponsors. We played jump rope, and we also celebrated the birthdays. 

In Bible class, we talked about the reason why we celebrate Christmas (Jesus). Also, we told them that although we do not know when Jesus was born, we know with certainty that he was born in Bethlehem.

Empezamos a confeccionar las cartas de agradecimiento a los padrinos. Jugamos  con las cuerdas y también celebramos los cumpleaños.

En la clase bíblica,  hablamos de la razón porque celebramos la Navidad (Jesús). También, le dijimos que aunque no sepamos la fecha en la cual Jesús nació, sabemos con certeza que Jesús nació en Bethlehem.
