We welcomed the kids as they got off the minivan. We prayed in English and Spanish for our sponsors and for the blessing of having breakfast.
The kids ate our traditional Costa Rican food of “pinto con natilla,” which is a mixture of rice and beans and has sour cream.
We sang a song called “If my cup is full of love,” and the kids liked it a lot.
In English class, we sang “Baby Shark,” and practiced words with the letter “a” at the beginning of the word.
In Bible class, the lesson dealt with Christmas, and how God chose the virgin Mary to give birth to our Savior. We told them that God sent an angel to announce to Mary the good news and that Mary’s response was “Fulfill Your will in me.”
God was pleased with that answer, and we reminded them that obedience is always rewarded. In the arts and crafts activity, the kids made a Christmas tree and they liked it a lot. Afterwards, we prayed for lunch and ate.

Le dimos la bienvenida a los chicos cuando bajaron de la buseta. Oramos en inglés y español por nuestros patrocinadores y por la bendicion de desayunar.
Los niños desayunaron nuestra comida tradicional costarricense de “pinto con natilla,” la cual es una mezcla de arrroz con frijoles y tiene natilla.
Cantamos una canción que se llama “Si mi copa reboza de amor,” y a los niños les gusto’ mucho.
En la clase de inglés, cantaron “Baby Shark,” y practicamos palabras con la letra “a” al principio de la palabra.
En la clase de Biblia, la enseñanza trato’ de la navidad y como Dios escogió a la virgen María para que diera luz a nuestro Salvador. Contamos que Dios mando’ a un angel para anunciarle a María las buenas nuevas y que la respuesta de Mary fue “hágase en mí Tu voluntad.”
A Dios le agradó esa respuesta y les recordamos que la obediencia siempre es recompensada. En la actividad de manualidades, los niños hicieron un arbolito de navidad y les gusto’ mucho. Después, oramos por el almuerzo y comimos.
